Alaska enacted the 2010 Amendments to UCC Article 9 when the governor signed House Bill 9 on June 27, 2013. The new law adopts the Alternative B safe harbor for sufficiency of individual names in § 9-503(a)(4), incorporates by reference the safe harbor forms set forth in the official text of § 9-521 and takes effect on Monday, July 1, 2013.
