Louisiana – Secretary of State Recording Requirement Eliminated

Senate Bill 54 (Act No. 50) signed by the governor and effective June 5 eliminates the requirement for the Secretary of State to record notice of administrative revocation of articles of incorporation in the clerk of court of the parish in which the corporation’s registered office is located. The bill also adds a requirement for registered agents to be authorized in their organizational documents to act as a registered agent.
