House Bill 359 (Act 2014-141) signed by the governor October 14 and effective December 14 amends the Solicitation of Funds for Charitable Purposes Act to require charitable organizations to file their annual registration statements by the 15th day of the fifth month following fiscal year end and to alter the time-period in which an extension may be given to file a registration statement from 180 days to up to the 15th day of the 11th month following fiscal year end.
