CSC Publishing: Latest Nevada statutory changes now available

Nevada’s Legislative Counsel recently completed its review of more than 35 statutory changes to business laws enacted by the General Assembly during its 79th legislative session.

Those changes are captured in the 2018 Edition of Nevada Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated releasing this month from CSC®Publishing, in collaboration with LexisNexis. The latest new case notes from state and federal courts interpreting the law have been added, as well as four full-text cases concerning recent legal developments in the business judgment rule, the alter ego doctrine, demand futility and work-product privilege. A Table of New Annotations lets users quickly locate new case notes added since the 2016 edition.

New in this edition, are easy-to-reference Nevada Fee Tables showing required fees for business filings with the Secretary of State. The companion CD-ROM contains over 90 Nevada forms for incorporation/formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution, and name reservation for all entity types. A listing of forms and contact information for the Commercial Recordings Division of the Secretary of the State can be found in the book’s Appendix.
