December and January 2014 State Holiday Closings

Listed below are state government office closures for the months of December and January.  This information was provided by each state as of November 26, 2013 and may be subject to change without CSC’s knowledge.  CSC will update this information as we become aware of any changes.  (Please note that court, county and local jurisdictions may vary.)  As the Christmas and New Year’s holidays approach, many states will have last minute closures.

December 24 (Tuesday)

Offices in the following states will be CLOSED for Christmas Eve:

  • Delaware (close at 4:30pm EST)
  • Georgia
  • Illinois

  • Michigan

December 25 (Wednesday)

Offices in ALL STATES will be CLOSED for Christmas Day.

December 26 (Thursday)

Offices in the following states will be CLOSED for the Christmas holiday:

  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Texas (state and Comptroller)

December 27 (Friday)

Offices in the following states will be CLOSED:

December 30 (Monday)

Offices in the following states will be CLOSED

December 31 (Tuesday)

Offices in the following states will be CLOSED for the New Year holiday:

Offices in ALL STATES will be CLOSED in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
