House Bill 404 (Chapter 334) signed by the governor and effective July 17 clarifies Delaware business entity statutes to provide that registered agents are obligated to comply with requirements, standards, guidelines, rules, regulations and procedures issued by the Secretary of State on matters involving filings for corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. This will enable the Secretary of State to adopt requirements regarding verification of customer entities.
