Illinois — SB 1826, effective August 9, relates to professional licenses

Senate Bill 1826 (Public Act No. 98-0289) signed by the governor and effective August 9 provides that applicants for certain professional licenses may submit, at their sole discretion, an original signature in the licensee’s handwriting, a scanned copy of the document bearing an original signature, or a signature generated by a computer.
