Delaware – Secretary of State Altered Business Hours Friday, May 6, 2022

In order to help you plan for filings and document retrieval from Delaware, we wanted to share that the Secretary of State in Delaware will be altering their normal business hours on Friday, May 6, 2022.  The office will be closing early for an employee event beginning at 10:30 AM EST.

What does this mean for you?

  • CSC will handle any higher priority filings (30 min, 1 hour, 2 hour) up until the 9 AM EST cutoff. Please note there will be no Same Day service.
  • CSC will still secure a May 6, 2022 filing date up until 10:29 PM EST.
  • CSC will manage all priority filings that arrive after the 9 AM EST cutoff on May 9 (upgrading requests Monday morning or submitting the filings Monday morning itself if the May 6 file date is not needed).
  • CSC will still handle Document Retrieval and UCC Searches as usual.

We trust this helps you plan accordingly for any filings needed on May 6 in Delaware.  As always, we stand ready to assist you with your worldwide filing and document needs.

Thank you for your continued partnership with CSC!
