Italy – Italy UBO Requirement
According to Law Decree 55/2022 from the Ministry of Financials as of 8 August 2022, Italian entities will need to file their Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) information with the Business Register.
- Current Italian entities have 60 days to register their UBO information.
- Italian entities registered after 8 August 2022 will have 30 days to register after formation.
- Any UBO changes must be reported within 30 days of the change.
- Annual UBO Declarations will also be required and can be filed with the financial statements.
