Delaware – Trade Name License from the Division of Revenue
House Bill 40 signed by the governor and effective February 7 amended Chapter 459 enacted in the 2024 legislative session relating to registration of trade names. HB 40 delayed the effective date from February 1 to June 2, 2025. Delaware corporations and LLCs without a physical address in Delaware which desire to register a trade name shall obtain a license from the Division of Revenue for a $25.00 fee and online trade name registration with a certificate of good standing.
