Maryland – Changes to 2025 Annual Report Filings
The State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) posted a news release reminding all domestic and foreign entities registered in Maryland prior to April 15 to file an annual report on the Maryland Business Express website or request a 2 month extension to June 16 at SDAT: Extension Request Form. The release noted 2 changes: (1) businesses with less than $20,000 in business personal property may certify a lesser amount on their annual report; and (2) the state’s expedite fee is $325.00 for rush review of online filings and $425.00 for 2 hour review of hard copy filings.
