Alabama – Secretary of State Annual Report Requirement Repealed October 1
House Bill 230 (Act 2024-213) signed by the governor May 6 and effective October 1 repeals the requirement for domestic and foreign corporations to file an annual report with the Secretary of State between January 1 and March 15 and pay a $10.00 processing fee. The bill text can be accessed here.

Senate Bill 245 (Chapter 355) signed by the governor and effective August 9 amended the Delaware Code to repeal the January 1, 2025 expiration dates for the office of Foreclosure Prevention and Financial Education and loss mitigation affidavits required in residential mortgage foreclosures.
