Senate Bill 179 (Act No. 457) signed by the governor July 1 and effective August 1 creates a statewide website to be established and maintained by the majority of Louisiana newspapers to be a repository for all statutorily required public notices in addition to its obligation to publish via print publication as provided by prior law.
