The Secretary of State’s office has posted an alert regarding a deceptive solicitation mailed to Maine corporations by “Corporate Records Service” offering to prepare annual minutes for a fee of $125.00. Maine corporations are not required to file corporate minutes with the Secretary of State’s office. Annual Reports must be filed with the Secretary of State prior to June 1.
