Maine – New law permitting Maine business entities to use short-form registration statement for securities

Senate Bill 568 (Public Law No. 452) became law and effective March 2 without the governor’s signature to increase funding for start-ups by permitting a short-form registration statement for securities by Maine business entities.  The chaptered law can be accessed at the Legislature website.
