The Maine Secretary of State is warning that there is a slight risk of a partial government shutdown on July 1 due to a budget impasse in the legislature. If that were to happen, the following services will not be available, over the counter corporate filings, document retrieval and UCC requests and Apostille/Authentication services until the budget issue is resolved. At this time it has been determined that online services will not be affected.
