House Bill 1243 (Chapter 558) and Senate Bill 811 (Chapter 557) signed by the governor May 15 and effective October 1 exempt specified securities issued by a Maryland business entity from security registration and filing requirements and establishes a $100.00 filing fee for a crowdfunding exemption.
