Michigan – SB 917 revises the timeframe for a secured party to execute a termination statement among other changes

SB 917 (Public Act No. 291) revises the time frame for a secured party to execute a termination statement and provides the Secretary of State would not have to issue a
title to a vehicle owner if the title is subject to a security interest.
