Nationwide – Internal Revenue Service announces dates they will close during the summer

On May 15, the IRS announced that all IRS operations will be closed May 24,  June 14, July 5, July 22 and August 30 in 2013.  However, taxpayers should continue to file returns and pay taxes due.  Closings are due to the IRS budget.
