Nebraska – LB 209 deletes the publication requirement of a trade name

Legislative Bill 209 signed by the governor March 7 and effective 3 months after adjournment of the current legislation session (projected to be June 5) deletes the requirement of filing proof of publication for registration of a trade name in the county clerk’s office where the principal office is located. Proof of publication still must be filed with the Secretary of State’s office.
