Legislative Bill 476 signed May 12 and effective 3 months after adjournment (projected to be June 2) clarifies that domestication of nonprofit corporations does not change the date of incorporation and enables out of state nonprofits desiring to move to Nebraska to maintain their tax-exempt status without reapplication to the IRS.
