Nevada enacts more than three dozen statutory changes in 2017 Legislative Session

Nevada’s General Assembly concluded its 79th legislative session in June 2017, enacting more than three dozen statutory changes in the Business Associations title and related titles. Those changes are now pending review by the Legislative Counsel.

These latest changes to Nevada’s business entity law are captured in CSC Publishing’s Nevada Laws Governing Business Entities: 2017 Legislative Update.

The acts are presented in this latest Nevada desk-book as enrolled by the Legislature, and have not yet been reviewed by the Legislative Counsel, who will assign code numbers to the newly enacted sections and may make changes to the official statutory text. The final versions of the affected statutes, along with the latest case notes, will be included in the 2018 Edition of CSC’s Nevada Laws Governing Business Entities, Annotated.

CSC Publishing has made the changes available in this form in order to ensure Nevada’s legal community has access to most recent business entity law in order to conduct research more effectively, complete transactions more efficiently and advise clients with confidence.

The book includes a Table of Sections Affected identifying added/amended statutes and expert analysis from Ellen Schulhofer and Albert Kovacs of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP.  A companion CD-ROM containing over 90 Nevada forms for incorporation/formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution, and name reservation for all entity types. A listing of forms and contact information for the Commercial Recordings Division of the Secretary of the State can be found in the book’s Appendix.

Nevada  Laws Governing Business Entities: 2017 Legislative Update is available as a softbound book or as an ebook, compatible with dedicated e-reader devices, computers, tablets and smartphones that use e-reader software or applications. It is also available on the LexisNexis Digital Library.
