New York Senate Bill 7195 signed by the governor and effective February 3 extended the effective date of the Women on Corporate Boards Study Act for 180 days. (Senate Bill 4278 (Chapter 747) signed by the governor December 30 and effective January 29, 2020 amends the Business Corporation Law to require the Department of State and the Department of Taxation and Finance to study the number of women directors who serve on each board of directors of domestic and foreign corporations doing business in New York.)
