The Washington Department of Licensing is warning that there is a slight risk of a full or partial government shutdown on June 30th due to a budget impasse in the legislature. If that were to happen, UCC and notary services might be suspended until the budget issue is resolved. It is unclear at this time what effect a government shutdown would have on business services provided by the secretary of state.
