UCC Perfection Perils: Managing the Risk of Post-Filing Debtor and Collateral Changes
A secured party’s responsibilities do not end with the filing of a financing statement. Subsequent events involving the debtor or collateral can leave a secured party fully or partially unperfected unless it takes prompt action.
