Senate Bill 5030 (Chapter 188) signed by the governor May 7 and effective January 1, 2016 repeals the existing Limited Liability Company Act passed in 1994 and creates a new Limited Liability Company Act to bring Washington’s laws in line with similar laws in leading states and with current Limited Liability Company business practices.
