Maryland – SB 106 exempts transfer of real property from recordation and transfer taxes for transfer of real property between certain entities pursuant to a reorganization

Senate Bill 106 (Chapter No. 129) signed by the governor April 14 and effective July 1 exempts from recordation tax and transfer tax the transfer of real property between certain business entities pursuant to a reorganization. The bill text can be accessed at the Maryland Legislature website.
