Hancap AB (publ) has provided the following information to the Trustee.

Hancap has for a longer period suffered from liquidity issues due to underperforming subsidiaries and several of the Group’s subsidiaries have now applied for Company reconstruction. The Group has made several cost reductions and other savings in the Group but is still facing challenges ahead.
Hancap is currently working on several alternatives and is in close dialogue with involved parties to turnaround the negative trend and intends to present a way forward in the near future. The solution and plan ahead include the Group’s commitment towards bondholders and the overdue interest. Hancap regrets the situation but appreciate the patience shown by investors towards the Group. Hancap will continue the work on a long-term and sustainable solution which is intended to be presented shortly.

Hancap har under en längre period dragits med likviditetsproblem, vilket beror på underpresterande dotterbolag. Detta har i sin tur lett till att flera av koncernens dotterbolag ansökt om företagsrekonstruktion. Koncernen har vidtagit flera kostnadsbesparingar och neddragningar.
Hancap arbetar i nuläget med flera alternativ och är i dialog med inblandade parter för att vända den negativa trenden och avser att presentera en väg framåt inom en snar framtid. Lösningarna innefattar de åtaganden som koncernen har gentemot obligationsinvesterare och den förfallna räntan. Hancap beklagar den uppstådda situationen och uppskattar det tålamod investerarna har visat gentemot koncernen. Hancap kommer fortsätta arbetet men en långsiktigt hållbar lösning och avser att kunna presentera den inom kort.
